Manufacturing
Fostering dermatology excellence through a proactive industrial strategy.

Galderma constantly strives to deliver products offering the best quality, cost and service benefits, all in strict compliance with health and safety and environmental protection standards. To achieve these goals, the company’s manufacturing capacity is spread across three sites.

Alby-sur-Chéran

Alby-sur-Chéran, France
With a workforce of 250, the company’s French site has an annual production capacity of 30 million units. It manufactures the liquid and semi-liquid forms of products on seven production lines and supplies over fifty countries in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia and Asia. The site is ISO 14001 certified.

Galderma’s fifty-strong Industrial Development team is also based at the Alby-sur-Chéran site in the French Alps. The unit produces clinical batches for trials worldwide. It also develops and improves manufacturing processes for new products, acquisitions and transfers, and supplies reference raw materials. Industrial Development is tasked with leveraging Galderma’s technical prowess

  Montreal, Canada
Montreal, Canada
Employing 195 people, Galderma’s Canadian site has four manufacturing platforms and eight production lines offering a combined annual production capacity of 50 million units. Liquid and semi-liquid forms intended mainly for the U.S. and Canadian markets are manufactured here.
The plant secured twin ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification in 2006.

Hortolandia
Hortolandia, Brazil
The Brazilian site came on stream in November 2004 and today employs 35 people. Specializing in liquid and paste forms, it offers an annual production capacity of 5 million units. Products manufactured here are shipped throughout Brazil and other Latin American countries.
