Operational areas of dermatology

Galderma (UK) Ltd is a cross functional organisation that is committed to delivering innovative medical solutions to meet the dermatological needs of people throughout their lifetime while serving healthcare professionals throughout the United Kingdom & Ireland.

The company operates over three main business units to meet these needs and operate effectively within the different markets of prescription medicines, self medication products and aesthetic and corrective solutions.  The three business units extensively collaborate between each other to ensure we are able to provide healthcare providers and practitioners a range of dermatological solutions.  They are supported by a cross functional head office team located at Watford, Hertfordshire that provides support to all UK and Ireland operations.

Prescription Medicines

The Prescription business unit is responsible for Galderma's portfolio of prescription only medicines that may be prescribed by a doctor, or other prescribing healthcare professional.  Areas treated include, acne, rosacea, skin cancers, psoriasis, and dry skin.

 

Self Medication

The Self Medication business unit is responsible for Galderma's self medication, over-the-counter portfolio of products that are available in a pharmacies  and stores nationwide.  The product portfolio includes moisturisers and cleansers particularly suited to dry skin as well as treatment for Onychomycosis (fungal nail infections). 

Aesthetic & Corrective Solutions

Our Aesthetic & Corrective business unit meets a large and growing need and is responsible for Galderma's aesthetic portfolio of products used in the treating skin senescence and ageing skin.  Galderma's aesthetic & corrective solutions are administered by aesthetic healthcare professionals.  Healthcare professionals can find out more by visiting Galderma Aesthetics.
