Galderma’s parent company is in Switzerland, with Corporate Services in Paris, France. Galderma employs 2370 people in 33 fully owned subsidiaries worldwide.

Our three R&D facilities devoted to research into new molecules and their international development are situated in:

State-of-the-art Manufacturing Technology
Opened in 1994, the production site in Alby-sur-Chéran, France, manufactures over 23 million units a year. The Industrial Development Unit, located next to the plant, takes our products from the R&D laboratories to full industrial-scale production.
The Montreal plant in Canada was built to meet the growing demand for Galderma products in North America, representing over 55 percent of the Company’s global turnover. Using the latest manufacturing technology, it has an annual production capacity of 40 million units.

Our strength lies in our research expertise, our production capacity and our global presence strategy. In 2005, Galderma ranked number one among dermatology companies worldwide, with annual sales reaching 635.6 million euros, reflecting like-for-like growth of 6.4% compared with 2004.
